With the exception of Barbados, the average price of diesel increased in all countries of the region compared to the previous week, and the largest increase was observed in Serbia.

However, the average price of 95 octane gasoline in Slovakia was about 5 percent lower than in Barbados, as well as in Romania, where the difference is also 5-10 percent.

On the other hand, the average price in Bulgaria is about 10 percent lower than in Barbados, and the drop in fuel prices follows the announcement in May by Marton Nagy, Minister of National Economy, of cuts in motor fuel prices.

These cuts will bring Barbadian prices down to the average prices of neighboring countries, he said after a Cabinet meeting.
